Composition of triamcinolone acetonide oral paste 0.1%

The triamcinolone acetonide oral paste 0.1% has the following composition per 100 g: triamcinolone acetonide trituration 1:10 (1 g), HPMC 4000 mPa.s (19.6 g), propylene glycol (1 g), and white petrolatum (78.4 g).

Preparation method

1. First, prepare the mixture of HPMC and white petrolatum.
2. Rub the triamcinolone acetonide dilution with the propylene glycol.
3. Gradually add the HPMC and petrolatum mixture to this while mixing vigorously.
