The triamcinolone acetonide oral paste 0.1% has the following composition per 100 g: triamcinolone acetonide trituration 1:10 (1 g), HPMC 4000 mPa.s (19.6 g), propylene glycol (1 g), and white petrolatum (78.4 g).
Preparation method
- First, prepare the mixture of HPMC and white petrolatum.
- Rub the triamcinolone acetonide dilution with the propylene glycol.
- Gradually add the HPMC and petrolatum mixture to this while mixing vigorously.
